The Chargers are excited to officially announce a new leadership structure effective April 1, 2025. After a decade of outstanding leadership as President, Michele Voris will assume the new role of Director of Business Operations reporting into the Board of Directors. Her primary responsibilities will be the daily administrative and operational tasks of our program. During her tenure as President, Michele played a pivotal role in shaping the Northwest Chargers into the powerhouse it is today. Her leadership drove significant advancements in player development and contributed greatly to the club's overall success and growth. We are excited to have her build on this foundation in her new role for continued success in the years to come.
With this transition, Adam Antell has been elected as the new President of the Board of Directors. Adam's extensive experience within the organization as both Treasurer on our Executive Board, strong hockey background and tenure as a key member of the coaching staff makes him the ideal candidate to continue the club's upward trajectory. Longtime board member and current Ice Scheduler of our program, Ken Smith has been elected to Vice President of the Board of Directors. Ken's extensive knowledge of the history of our program in addition to his hockey knowledge, unwavering support, and wisdom makes him the ideal candidate to assume this executive Board role. Heidi Siena will continue in her role as the Secretary for the Board of Directors and fills out our Executive Board team with Adam and Ken.
Additionally, Pete Carcione will move from Interim Hockey Director, a role he has held since November 2024, to the new Director of Hockey Operations reporting into the Board of Directors. Pete brings years of expertise in hockey operations both from his Board role as well as many years as a head coach. Pete's successes in the area of player development and strong understanding of how the game is evolving ensures we have the right leader in place to continue to strengthen the quality of our programming, ultimately setting up our players for future successes.
More information about these roles as well as other expansions of our hockey staff will follow soon as we start to plan for the 2025-26 season. The Northwest Chargers are excited for the future and look forward to continued growth under this new leadership structure!
