Managers

Coach Registration
If you're a new or existing Northwest Chargers coach, please visit the Coach Registration page for all of the necessary SportsEngine, USA Hockey, and or AAU registration links.
League Participation
We plan to field 22 travel hockey teams this fall season that will compete in the following leagues:
CHICAGO UNITED HOCKEY LEAGUE
(AAU)
- Our Mite teams will compete in Divisions I, II, and III
- Our Mite teams will play six (6) seeding round games, followed by an 18-game regular season; teams will also participate in local and out-of-town tournaments
CENTRAL STATES DEVELOPMENTAL HOCKEY LEAGUE
(USA Hockey)
- Major and Minor teams will play a 24-30 game schedule against other major/minor teams locally and out of town.
- Prospects teams will participate in an eight (8) game relegation round, and then play a 20 game regular season in one of the following divisions: Red, White, Blue. Tiers may also exist in each division depending on the total number of teams, and some out-of-town games will be included. Please see the CSDHL website for more information on the newly revamped Prospects division, as well as very helpful FAQs.
- Northern Illinois Hockey League (NIHL) will serve as a girls-only league for the 2025-26 season.
Midwest Superior Girls Hockey (NIHL)
(USA Hockey)
The Chargers new girls teams will compete in the National or American division of the new Midwest Superior Girls Hockey League (formerly NIHL).
- Girls U10 (2015 & 2016)
- Girls U12 (2013 & 2014)
