At the Northwest Chargers, the safety and well-being of our players, coaches, and families are of utmost importance. To ensure this, our Rules and Ethics Committee takes all reported incidents of misconduct seriously and will conduct an investigation if the committee finds the incident(s) to be in violation of our published policies. We hold all members of our community to a higher standard and ensure accountability for all involved parties. In some cases, if necessary, we may refer the matter to a higher authority, such as USA Hockey, AHAI, or local law enforcement. Before any formal investigation begins, we ask that any questions about our policies and procedures be reviewed independently on our website from the above "Documents and Policies" tabs.

Why are jersey fittings prior to tryouts and team selections?

This ensures timely delivery to ensure the players have jerseys for the start of the season. The Chargers high-quality, Athletic Knit Jerseys are Customized for each player, which takes time to produce.

How does my player select their jersey number?

Player’s numbers are selected at the fitting based on their Birth Year and Number Availability.

Birth Year: Players born in Even Numbered years (ex. 2014, 2012, etc.) will select an Even Number based on availability. Players born in Odd Numbered years (ex. 2015, 2013, etc.) will select an Odd Number based on availability. This format helps ensure that players’ numbers do not overlap at any given age level. No exceptions to this rule.

Number Availability: Jersey Number Boards displayed at the fittings list all current Charger Players and their numbers and show the available numbers at each birth year. Open numbers are selected on a “First Come” Basis – Numbers will not be held and cannot be requested.

What if my player does not make a team, will I be issued a refund?

Yes. If your player is not selected for a 2023-2024 team, Jerry’s Hockey will refund your money. Payment is expected at fittings which also secures your players’ number.

My player’s socks are still in good shape from last year do I need to purchase a new pair?

No. As long as there are no cuts, tears, or visible wear and tear you can use your socks from the previous season. We want all of our players to look their best when they take the ice for the Chargers!

We cannot make the Fitting Date, what are our options?

We strongly encourage you to attend the First Fitting Date. This will help ensure your Player’s Jerseys are ready for the upcoming start of the season and their preferred number.
