For the second year, the Northwest Chargers have given the Mite players a big brother or sister. Players from our Mite teams have been paired up with a player from our Midget teams. During the season Midget players will attend practice sessions of thier little brothers, commonly know as the "littles". You will also see the littles at their big brothers games, also known as the "bigs". As the season goes on, the relationship grows. Our hope, is that a relationship between the players will last as the Mite player moves through the organization and the Midget players graduate to a life beyond the Chargers. This season we are able to pair Sofia Farias with Maddie Morgan from one of our Bantam teams. The Mites have been very proud to walk around the rink and point out to someone and say, "That is my Big Brother". As an organization we are very pleased how the Midgets are great role models to the "littles" within the Chargers.
